Securing a Parenting Plan That Works for You

Determining a parenting plan that satisfies both spouses can be a difficult task. You want to do what is best for your child, but you also want to secure an adequate amount of parenting time for yourself. The Law Office of Charles E. Gordon can help. With nearly four decades of child custody experience, I will use my skills to negotiate a parental time-sharing agreement that will allow you to preserve your relationship with your children. If negotiations are not successful, I will use my extensive litigation experience to pursue a time-sharing agreement in court.

Do you need an experienced child custody lawyer? Contact my office today to schedule an appointment so we can discuss your situation and develop a plan that works for you.

Time Share and Parenting Plans

In Florida, time-sharing and parenting plans have replaced custody and visitation. There is no statutory visitation schedule by which the court determines parenting plans and time-sharing agreements. Time sharing is generally granted to both parents unless the court finds it detrimental to the child. In a typical time-share agreement, parents will share the responsibilities of raising the child, including the responsibility of making major life decisions.

Negotiating a parenting plan can be an emotional and stressful time in your life. As your attorney, I will work to aggressively protect the rights of you and your child whether it is through mediation or litigation. My job will be to protect and pursue the legal aspects of your case so you can focus on the personal issues.
